Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 April 2026 · AfricSolutions, Nairobi, Kenya

Please read these terms carefully before using AfricSolutions. They set out the rules and expectations for everyone who uses our platform — clients, freelancers, and visitors alike.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AfricSolutions — whether as a client, freelancer, or visitor — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

What AfricSolutions Does

AfricSolutions is a talent platform that connects clients seeking professional services with vetted African freelancers. We facilitate introductions, manage the application process, and support ongoing engagements — but we are not a party to any contract between clients and freelancers.

We do not guarantee placement, employment, or a specific outcome for any brief, application, or engagement submitted through the platform.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and lawful job briefs. You must not submit briefs that are misleading, discriminatory, or in violation of applicable law.

Clients are responsible for honoring agreed terms with freelancers, including timely payment and respectful communication. AfricSolutions is not liable for disputes arising between clients and freelancers.

Freelancer Responsibilities

Freelancers are responsible for providing accurate information about their skills, experience, and availability. Misrepresentation — including fabricated portfolio work, inflated credentials, or false identity — will result in immediate removal from the platform.

Freelancers are responsible for delivering work to the standard agreed with clients and for complying with all applicable tax and legal obligations in their jurisdiction.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, design, graphics, and code — is the property of AfricSolutions and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

Work product created by a freelancer for a client belongs to the client upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.

Limitation of Liability

AfricSolutions provides its platform on an 'as is' basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AfricSolutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity.

Termination

AfricSolutions reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for any user who violates these terms, engages in abusive behaviour, or misuses the service in any way.

You may stop using the platform at any time. Requests to delete your data can be made by contacting hello@africsolutions.com.
